Students who are officially enrolled need to login to Blackboard, submit the agreement, and follow the instructions in the Welcome announcement within 48 hours from the beginning of the semester or they'll be automatically dropped. Students who do NOT submit assignments or take tests for two weeks will be automatically dropped. In order to log in to Blackboard you should enter the same id and password that you use for your My Avc account (click here to look up your account info).

INTERCULTURAL AND WOMEN'S FILM (FTV 201) This course is an introduction to the representation of women in worldwide cinema. It studies classical and contemporary movies which reveal origins and explanations of women's places in cultures and societies.
INTRO TO FILM (FTV 101) This course will introduce students to one of the most powerful cultural and social communications media of our time: cinema. The successful student will become more aware of the complexity of cinematic language, more sensitive to its narrative structure, and more perceptive in “reading” its multilayered blend of image, sound, and motion.
